You’ll enjoy top-down driving in comfort once you install the WSA 2000 or 3000 windscreen on your SLK. Unwanted noise, caused by excessive turbulence and buffeting, are eliminated. You’ll be able to listen to your favorite music, or carry on a conversation much easier without the relentless noise caused by a pounding back draft. Once the windscreen is installed, you can enjoy a pleasant ride with your top down, even when the temperature isn’t perfect. Do you ever feel like you’re being chased by a fish net? Unlike mesh style windscreens that are difficult to see through, the WSA 2000 and 3000 provide a clear rear view, These windscreens are made of AR polycarbonate, a very durable acrylic type material that is scratch resistant and nearly unbreakable.
The WSA 2000 and 3000 are the only anti-glare windscreens on the market. At night, the unique design of the WSA 2000 and 3000 prevents unwanted and distracting reflections from your cabin lights or from the tail lights of the car in front of you.
The WSA 2000 and 3000 are well made . . . “rock solid” as one customer said. It’s easy to install onto existing factory mounting points - no drilling is required. Either of these windscreens will great on your SLK - with no unsightly straps wrapped around your roll bars.

The WSA 2000 and 3000 can be installed with your original equipment or "U" shape stainless steel roll bars. The WSA 2000 and 3000 are designed to fit all Model year SLKs R-170, built from 1998-2004. Windscreens do not interfere with the operation of your vario roof.
Dimensions for WSA 2000 full windscreen are: 43” Wide, 15” High and 5/16" Thick.

New! LED Illumination...
You can wire your windscreen lighting panel to any 12 volt power source on your SLK (Running Lights, brake lights, driving lights, Cigarette Lighter, or Behind Radio etc.) Most car audio / alarm shops can wire it for you, or you can do it your self in less than 1 hour. If you don't want to wire the light source directly to the SLK, there is an optional battery pack available as a stand alone power supply.

You can also order your windscreen with the Mercedes star - visible from front and rear, and either "Mercedes-Benz" or "///AMG" visible from inside the cabin only. Simple custom graphics will be considered and separately quoted upon request. (Windscreens are aftermarket products, and not made, or sold through Mercedes-Benz)

When you direct wire the power to your brake wires, and connect this device to the illuminated windscreen, the brightness of the light is greater when you step on the brakes. Turns the windscreen into a 3rd brake light. Comes with its own battery pack, and convenient on/off switch.
